About Bruce Clements
Bruce Clements, born in 1983 and raised on a farm, developed an early fascination with nature and animals, which deeply influences his work. As an emerging South African sculptor, he’s gaining recognition for his potential and unique artistic approach. Known for his realistic interpretations, Bruce practices a pure, refined form of art, viewing elements as individual components with a strong emphasis on form and movement, bringing depth and expression to his pieces. His keen ability to see in three dimensions breathes life into his sculptures.
Primarily working in bronze, Bruce has recently expanded into ceramics, exploring new mediums to enhance his creative expression. Educated at Michaelhouse and currently residing in the KZN Midlands, he has exhibited at the prestigious Charles Greig Gallery in Johannesburg, Earth Lodge Sabi Sabi, and several galleries in KZN.
His work has found homes in private collections across the globe.
